Delicate Arch

Spent the morning in the Arches National Park with a long trek over sun baked rocks and a scary section on a ledge near the approach to this spectacular site. It was a 3 mile round trip which is nothing but in the heat with an elevation change of 480 feet there is a sense of achievement on reaching the viewing area. You can see La Sal Mountains in the background which still have some snow on them.

I am just amazed at the sheer size of the landscape and structures and didn't see half of the arches and so will need to make a return trip some day.
