Comfort Food

It was difficult to believe it was still August today and technically still Summer. Incessant rain began sometime during the night and continued for most of the day which provided the opportunity to catch up on household chores. 

I raided the freezer for an homemade Chili con Carne which didn't seem out of place on a thoroughly miserable evening.
