Leaping into September

Mum's doing a lot better today, and we managed to take her out for a pub lunch. Afterward, with a maternal snooze on the cards Janet and I walked down to the shoreline and wandered along the pebble beach. 

At one point we had to cross a fast running and deeper than was comfortable. Janet stumbled the jump and gained a complaining knee to add to her complaining wrists and assorted other muttering body parts. On the way back to mums we took the longer route home...

Perhaps her focused expression is in preparation for the landing.
