We parked at the East Sands to continue a phone call with our older son. The wee family are well. A few folks took similar photographs, there was a slight haze as it was cool after a warm day. We’d been here at high tide; students had been playing and socialising then - next week is Freshers Week.

Our younger son’s rugby team is playing their first game of the season tomorrow. Away in the South of Scotland, we’ve agreed to give this one a miss. It’ll be a warm dry start to their fixture list.
