The sea was almost over the horizon.
Big beach today, as good as it gets, the front of the tide far out. Very good for wellbeing. There were only a few lenses of water and some wee rivulets to break up the expanse in places. And the estuary on left was low, sandbanks exposed. We walked right to the front of the tide, and wandered back along the water’s edge and paddled a bit.
The Walker Cup golf was underway. Traffic at the Bruce Embankment was heavy. We watched some of the play on television afterwards, it was exciting. Final tomorrow.
Our younger son’s rugby team won their first game of the season. Three hours in the team bus each way! They got great hospitality from the home club.
Our wee grandson went to a birthday party! We saw some nice photos of the wee family.
