Purely educational

Dinner with George and Alan this evening. They aren't just wine buffs, they are true devotees. We try several bottles that were of course perfectly matched to the food. Each bottle was accompanied by a big pile of knowledge about the geography, the climate, the grape, the vineyard history etc. I'm very impressed by their knowledge of this stuff. Great evening, really good fun.
