It took me until 1pm to get back from George's. I just wanted to crash out but of course the workmen were here (when aren't they?). My only moment if peace was admiring the alliums in the garden. I intended to be patient and line up gorgeous shots. The builders had other ideas.

I've been a dead loss today. Very tired. I've achieved nothing more than three laundry loads and oiling the work tops. Oh well. Energy to be returned tomorrow.
