Shenzhen: Flea Market

Courtesy of a Grade 5 (Year 6) initiative, led by another Kiwi teacher here, we introduced our students and parents to the concept of a Saturday morning 'flea market' (swap meet), including such things as a 'raffle'. Parents and kids could hire a table, selling what they brought in, and could keep the cash, minus 10%. All proceeds to the Grade 5 class' chosen charity. Kids (and adults) loved it!
