Shenzhen: Testing Times

And a year on the next cohort goes through the Gao Kao, the annual university entrance exam - see my blips of 7 & 9 June 2013.

Reportedly 9 million high students sat their Gao Kao this weekend. Silence was requested by surrounding communities and it was spookily quiet (especially for China). I towed the line by practicing my viola pizzicato this morning.
