A feast for Sparrows

Bad day. Had to cancel plans to go to my oldest (in that I’ve known her the longest) friend’s 60th birthday party this afternoon. Wasn’t fair to ask anyone to sit with Dad given how he was. Mind you, I wasn’t feeling that special either. Sunny and 21 degrees, though didn’t get out into the garden, spent all day waiting in for the district nurse who arrived late pm.
