Today's the day ...................... to enjoy yourself

I've had a lovely day today.

Most of it was spent in a SongWave Singing Workshop where we met up for the first time after the summer break.  We got to see all the songs that we will be practising in the coming term - and performing at the Christmas concerts.  We had a brief try at singing most of them.  We had a bring-and-share lunch that, as ever, turned into a gourmet feast.  It was just great to see everyone again and catch up with how everyone's summer had gone.

Then when I got home, there was plenty of time to go for a walk along the River Dee and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine.  This heron was patiently standing right in the middle of the raging torrents, waiting for something interesting (and tasty) to swim by.

And now, after having something tasty to eat myself, it's time to catch up on what's been happening today in La Vuelta Grand Tour Cycling.  A lovely sort of day altogether ...........................
