Red Admiral on Plum Tree

At one point this morning, I saw three red admirals on the large buddleia bush at the same time, a record for this year! 

It has been National Cinema Day today so I took up the generous offer of £3 per seat and went to see Barbie at The Grosvenor in Byres Road. I have wanted to see the film since it came out and am pleased to have now seen it but wasn’t wowed. I normally go to the cinema midweek, in the afternoon, when it is quiet, today it was busy with a group of boisterous women and an uncontrolled young child running up and down the aisle. I will go back to my normal next time.
