Another Gorgeous Day!

Although a wee bit warm this afternoon. I went for a walk in the Arboretum this morning and went down to the Winter Garden which is a heck of an elevation change. First time I've been down there since quite an awhile before I had knee surgery - probably a year now. It's actually the hike back up that's a bit intense. BUT no knee pain! Just a lot of huffing and puffing ;-) 
I love the way that this Vine Maple is capturing the morning sun. It reminds me a bit of a maiden hair fern.

Spent the afternoon puttering around - made fresh tomato sauce with my tons of tomatoes from the CSA (my own aren't ripe yet well except the cherries). Can't wait to taste that in the middle of the winter!
