Fun Day!

I woke up to drizzle and mist this morning - so very odd, there was no mention of any wetness at all today. We had our Townhouse Golf Tournament this morning and were really rather wet for the first hour, but then it stopped and it was just cloudy the rest of the day. The golf - a scramble - was a lot of fun, although I didn't play very well, but it didn't matter. We had a big picnic in our common yard afterwards - what a crew! Amazing food and company and we played Corn Hole, which I'd never played before. Look here if you want to know what it is. We were laughing so hard...hilarious!

Here's a photo of my tomato tart (slightly out of focus). It got great raves - fortunately I made two of them and there's hardly any left! NY Times Cooking. Here's the recipe if you're interested Tomato Tart. After I cut it up, I put dollops of lemon-zested ricotta cheese with a dab of pesto. It was really incredible, especially with my tomatoes from the garden!
