Ceiling Texture and Barbecue

Spent most of the day finishing some ceiling repairs we started months ago. Drywall dust is such a pain to clean up.

Went to dinner at a Avery’s best friend’s house. They live about just up the street and they are excellent cooks. Tonight was no exception. Her dad is retired from the army and now works for the forest service. He told us some pretty tragic stories about his time in Iraq. He is currently writing a novel about a squad in Iraq getting abducted by aliens whose language is all Sumerian. Could be interesting. I hope he finishes the book.
