Barcelona Day Four

It was so difficult to just make this decision of which photograph to upload from the fourth day because we did so much! And Barcelona is very pretty! This is the National Art Museum of Catalunya, still in Barcelona but a few tube stops away from the center.

Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside as it closed at 8pm and by the time we got there it was past 7pm and therefore didn't think it was worth paying for. We got sidetracked by shopping and then a beautiful park on the walk from the tube to the museum, with panoramic views of Barcelona.

There is an incredible 'magic fountain' in front of the museum (which almost became my picture for day four) which begins from 9pm. Its hard to describe as it really is so unique and impressive. The fountain is done with lights to music and the water reaches heights that I didn't even know a fountain could reach! We sat of the steps of the museum, looking at the fountain with views of Barcelona in the background with the sun setting - and yes, it really was as beautiful as it sounds!
