Barcelona Day Five

We had a late flight back which meant that our last day in Barcelona could actually be spent seeing exciting things instead of the usual view of the departure lounge.

It became a Gaudi day - beginning with the La Sagrada Familia then onto Casa Mila and then ending in Park Guell (which is where I took this photo). The only down side to Park Guell is the impressive amount of steps and steep hills you need to walk up to get there but boy is it worth it! We didn't get to spend as long there as we would have liked (the departure lounge was unfortunately waiting..) but that means that we'll just have to go back! The mosaics were so beautiful - such a mix of colours and patterns.

Sitting on Gaudi's mosaic seats, overlooking the city was a really perfect end to a fabulous holiday with friends that I will sadly have to say goodbye to in a few weeks when I have to graduate. But for now I will just remember how amazing this holiday was, and these photos are perfect mementos!
