Red Admiral

I've done a (tiny) bit of gardening today, and I noticed the buddleia which the gardener had hacked right back now has quite a few flowers, and butterflies too. Mainly peacocks and red admirals, and most of them looking a bit worse for wear, with various bits missing. Well it has been a long season! Actually this one wasn't too bad. Some of the others would have qualified for Derelict Sunday!

A quiet day otherwise, not sure where it has gone. I did spend a bit of time catching up on blip, and sorting out some images for camera club tomorrow evening.  We have a funeral to go to tomorrow morning in Birmingham so it is going to be a busy day.
