Ashlyn

This delightful young woman, Ashlyn, is renting the Spruce cabin for a week.   When she visited me in the studio on the morning of her first day she was a bit emotional....her dog Luna, who is with her, is old and going down hill fast and she believes this is her last trip with her!!!   Luna is 13 and altho i haven't yet met her, sounds like a lovely dog!   I totally empathize with her sadness.  She's had Luna for 11 years!

She was very kind and brought us dinner last evening....that never happens!!!  A delicious chicken curry with rice.   We asked her to join us for dinner but she had already eaten but said she would be very grateful for the company!   So we all three sat out on the back porch and we ate her wonderful curry and we chatted for a couple of hours!   Seems like that was just what she needed....and we were very happy to oblige. 

We rarely interact with our guests on a social level, we believe they are here to have some peace and quiet, and so it was a bit unusual for us to have such a social event, but we all enjoyed it.
