Mono Monday

The theme is white on white. This is an ornament given to me by my late Mother in Law. It is all white (except for the scar of Araldite around the neck from when it came off). I always liked it even though it isn’t fine porcelain. It lives (?) in the China cupboard with the Lladro. 

I had a busy morning. Made Pea and Ham soup (enough for 9 serves), chocolate brownie and chocolate fruit and nut slice. Gardened and did all the morning jobs. This afternoon I walked around to the hardware store to buy some paint for the chairs Maddy and I are cleaning up. She is really keen on that job, and has done up some old furniture at home for her bedroom. It’s good if kids can get some DIY skills.
