A hot and sunny day and we nipped into Skibbereen to deliver the last of the first print of books.Hopefully the reprint won't take too long.
Too hot to work at midday so I got some presents organised for Esme's birthday later in the month. Amazing how you can get stuff delivered to New Zealand wherever you are - a Quentin Blake compendium, some fat marker pens and the little models depicting the life cycle of ladybirds and worms since you asked. Apparently she's into worms, how books are made and poo jokes at the moment.
In the cooler afternoon we did more strimming until sweaty and went for a lateish swim. This was the view. The sky has now gone strange and there is a still yellowish air. As we came home a few fat drops of rain fell - muddy and yellow.
