Hot, hot, hot

today! A beautiful start to the day, so I got lots of little outstanding chores done. Then a visit to Tesco, nice and cool in there!

Spent the afternoon doing very little. Chased Bees round the garden to get  a blip. Then I sat and tried to understand how to use the new microwave and the oven. Jeez! Why is life so complicated these days? I've managed these past 18 months on very basic cooking facilities, namely a camping microwave, a tiny single oven and a single hob plate, all very simple to use. I now have an all singing all dancing microwave with 6 heat settings before I even start! And as far as the oven instructions! The booklet sends you back and forth from one page to another, yet explains nothing! No wonder I have friends who don't cook!
