The artist

in residence was out doing landscape. Visit to Kirkcudbright and the lovely garden at Broughton House. Struggled to find somewhere for lunch so sat on a bench looking over the marina with a takeaway coffee and wrap, hubby had a curried mushroom pie.
Got back to cottage late afternoon and sorted it after daughter been for a week. Fortunately I noticed a box on top of some books on a high shelf and when opened discovered a fork and cake. Must add don’t leave cake on bookshelves to list of things to check when they are leaving.
