Fascinators

A somewhat impressive display of dahlias. They aren’t mine but are grown by a keen fellow allotment plot holder. Until recently I wasn’t drawn to dahlias but I think I’m going to try growing some next year. There are so many varieties in different colours, some bright and showy, others more subdued. I want to try some of the more simple form flowers that are good for pollinators as well as the more elaborate ones.

It was 28 degrees here today so I had early morning and an evening wanders and stayed in the cool of the house the rest of the time.
