Bucolic

A Mendip scene, a view towards the Bristol Channel and delightful peace and quiet, but we were only 6 minutes' drive north of Bristol airport. We’re staying in a room in the grounds of a livery stables ready for an early start tomorrow. We will visit Bulgaria and see my brother, whom I’ve not seen since 2018. 

The outward journey, via Bucharest airport, is a bit tight: we'll land at 1305 with a bus for Ruse in Bulgaria due to depart at 1530. Let’s hope that Ryanair manages a punctual arrival . . .
