30 degrees

After gardening jobs and catching up with neighbours over the front garden fence in the sunshine, the day went quickly and we were soon on the way to collect granddaughter Amelia from school, after her first day back from the summer holidays.

On the way home, with the temperature a good 30 degrees, we stopped at Monmouth Park (South Wales, UK) and after a play we were all hot and sweaty so drove the few minutes to Monmouth Rowing club on the River Wye. It wasn't long before we all had socks off and dipped feet in the water to cool off, as the blip of granddaughter Amelia shows.

Back home, we sat under the gazebo and enjoyed ice creams from the freezer to continue cooling down.
