Big Fella Sculpture

We started the day with a trip to Silloth to see this statue. Having seen Ray Lonsdale sculptures in Yorkshire we wanted to add this to the collection.

Richard had dialysis this afternoon so whilst he spent 4 hours having his blood cleaned I took the bike on the Sustrans cycle  route to Workington had a coffee and then returned to pick Richard up. Over 30km ridden with some substantial climbs but the scenery made the effort worth while. Think I should sleep well tonight!

Another wonderful sunset tonight. We really have hit lucky with the weather this week.
