A Look Of Surprise!

Astonishment really...

I am not sure who was more surprised, me or the grasshopper.

Or his mate, shown in extra.

I was watering the pot plants and these two seemed quite put out to be having a shower so unexpectedly.

I am totally ignorant of the development stages of these fascinating creatures. So I googled it. As you do.

It seems they may be nymphs, not yet fully formed.

Or they may not be grasshoppers at all...

Someone please put me out of my misery!
