Mont St Michel

We headed here too late to do it full justice; but as both of us have been up and inside before - me about 20 years ago and R maybe 50(!) years ago , we weren’t too worried. Instead we enjoyed the walk along the causeway and back , and then headed to a tiny hamlet near Corseul where our friends and UK neighbours have a cottage. We stopped for lunch on the way and arrived just after 2. It’s glorious here, and we are enjoying the weather & company. We went to see the Roman ruins nearby when it got a bit cooler. Off to the beach tomorrow:)
