The Bridges of Ross
The initial view and the extra is one of the bridges from the side. Amazing place. in Donegal.
We went there because the guide said it was a great place for birds. The winds were amazing. Two days before us getting there someone on ebird documented many different seabirds. I know we were not there long enough ( which I think would have warranted much warmer clothes) so I only spotted about 6 black back gulls. Oh well, the views were fantastic.
The other extra is Connemara NP. the daughter dragged us hiking again and decided she wanted to climb the longer trail up the hill, we went back down. The sky darkened , the wind picked up and it started to pour just as we got almost all the way back down- we had an umbrella. Fi didn't make it to the top as the wind had her almost crawling and she decided reaching the summit was not worth the risk of getting blown off the mountain . But she was much further up and was soaked when she got back down. She did take it in stride but headed for hot chocolate at the cafe.
