Too hot

We didn't have very long together today. We took her clarinet to the repairer. It has been waiting a very long time. I made her come with me "to show the problem" so that she left the house for a bit. She agreed to go for a bit of a walk and to get a snack but it was too hot for her. She wasn't even particular interested in paddling which is most unlike Katie. She did have a little splash after I lead the way first. She was, though, happy to go spend a bit of time in the beautiful little village church. So it ended up a nice little outing. 

My colleague offered to close up at work in the evening so I didn't have to stay out late and was able to put her to bed. The packing is beginning to overwhelm us!
