A lovely sunflower continuing to live and grow.

I am really uncertain how this sunflower continues to grow and live. I planted 13 sunflower seeds from a small packet, and this champion sunflower plant is the remaining one. It started life in the narrow garden of the old terraced house. I am spraying the leaves gently with vinegar water to stop white mold in the leaves from spreading and it seems to be working.
I am going to put the washing on the clothes line.
