Slug love

I wouldn't have noticed them in the leaves if it hadn't been for the gelatinous eggs between them.
Google says their development depends on how warm it is and they take a year to mature to adults and can live for 2 years.
Trying to like slugs by getting to know more, they are an important source of food for hedgehogs, foxes, badgers and birds
