Daubensee, Gemmi Pass

We came across quite a few sheep on our walk around Daubensee this afternoon. It was a stunning walk with such beautiful blue skies above us.

I left work at lunchtime (I’m now only working 50%) and drove with a friend to Leukerbad to take the cable car up to the Gemmi Pass. We checked into the hut (which is more like a hotel) and, after a quick coffee, took a small cable car down to the lake for a walk. We then met HilarysView on the col to look for the elusive Bearded Vulture. At dinner we met with Hilary’s Dutch friends. Stunning views from the restaurant.
