Scottie Dogs (Scottish Terriers)

Geordie made some new friends today.
Scotties by the Sea is designed to celebrate the communities, culture and creativity of North East Fife, whilst also raising money for Maggie’s Everyone’s Home of Cancer Care.

There are more than 30 giant Scottie sculptures around St Andrews and the coast around here.
We checked out the one with the coastal scenes on it at Leven. Drove down to Lower Largo , and just loved the one we saw there. It’s covered with Tunnocks Tea Cake wrappers, that almost look like tartan from a distance. Then we found the Elie one which is the pewter coloured dog.
There will be more. That’s a warning! :-)
