Blind Light

Utter contrast to yesterday as the coast was shrouded in a fret that never quite burnt off although it tried. I went to Wells to get a gift for my brother and saw that the Albatros is back in town https://willsofwells.com/albatros
On my way back I walked out to East Head again and the haar was a bit of a relief and it made for an eerie swim with Mr Seal bobbing up out of the mist. We played a game of peekaboo. As I disappeared behind a wave I could see it’s head raise higher out of the water to try to see me and I’d do the same.

As so often in these conditions, I was reminded of Gormley’s ’Blind Light’ and ‘the business of being alive’ …
