Beautifully flowering …..

….. ….. ….. Kowhai at my neighbour’s, over the road. She’s away in Australia and I’m watering her pots, and enjoying seeing the kowhai blooming. There’s not much snow left up there on the Crown Range.

The kowhais that have been planted along the north side of Lake Hayes are doing really well this Spring too.
It’s wonderful seeing all the Spring colours now. The Weeping Willows are a vibrant Spring green, the daffodils are a riotous golden yellow, and the blossom trees? They’re incredible!

I’ve had a non-stop sort of day. Not my style at all but it’s great looking back on it. I even went to a music practice late afternoon and joined in with my flute!
