Alpe di Siusi

Caught the free bus to Ortisei, and went up the Alpe di Siuse Gondola, which was packed - then dropped down the Soie chairlift into the plateau beyond. It was much hazier than previous days - and very hot. Managed to get some shots up there - rather liked the horses in the foreground. We walked back down the mountain paths to Ortisei for lunch, and returned to Selva, catching the Ciampinoi lift to the top of Mt Ciampinoi at 2254m, where we got the extra of the cross on the top of the mount.

Enjoyed a splendid candlelit dinner in the hotel with champagne cocktails to start and a six course feast.
