Bassenthwaite Lake

Officially the only "lake" in the Lake District (all the others being "meres" or "waters"), Bassenthwaite Lake is dominated by the wonderful Skiddaw range. Though from this viewpoint, the top of Skiddaw cannot be seen, only Ullock Pike.
