Had a reasonably lazy afternoon, heat making me very lethargic. Lots of fine red sand on my car - MrD said it’s from Africa with current weather …

Felt fresher late afternoon when I went out to take some photos: top two are the plants I bought on Sunday from Castle Gardens - a pink Persicaria and a very delicate purple Verbena “Bampton”. The other photos are Verbena bonariensis, a purple toadflax and a periwinkle.
