Schools go back, weather becomes wonderful

Spent a lot of the day on the beach. We avoid weekends and school holidays because they become so over crowded so this is the first visit for some time. The day was hot but there was a nice breeze making it more comfortable. It was high tide when we arrived so we stayed near the sand dunes, hence the grass in the picture.
We used the new trolly blipped recently and found we can take a lot of stuff with us with little problem. That is until we meet the soft sand. Then I had to drag it and the wheels ploughed their way across the beach leaving ruts several inches deep.
On my COPD course they tell me that breathlessness is not bad, it is exercising my lungs. They were well exercised today, both going and coming back, on that soft sand.
One bad thing this evening. I was trying to do bits in the garden but it was too dark by eight o'clock. The days sure are getting shorter
