What a difference a day makes

Yesterday was fabulous, brilliant sunshine with a nice breeze just keeping the temperature pleasant, enjoyed several hours doing nothing on the beech.
It had been so good we decided to repeat it. The weather at home was good, blue skies and warm so we drove to the coast expecting the same. When we got there everything was encased in a thick sea fog. It was still warm but no sun or view further than about 30 meters. We sat on a bench for an hour of so hoping it would improve but it didn't
We drove on to Burnham Overy Staithe hoping for a change in the weather and to eat our picnic. As we arrived we saw the coffee lady featured in Billy Goats blip. She still had a queue so we did not trouble her. The weather had not improved much but we had a seat overlooking the boats so decided to eat there anyway. It was at this point we discovered that I had not put the ice packs in the ice box and the sandwiches, yoghurts and buns were quite warm, not a pleasant meal.
Gave up, went home and eventually cut the grass.
This evening watched the first game in the Rugby World Cup. Excellent game, very skillful and entertaining. Yes you guessed it, England were not playing. That happens tomorrow. Maybe they can actually achieve what, on paper, they promise
