Off for a swim

This is some others from the party going off to swim from the boat in what is quite a busy bay. I had to stay home and do some work calls and emails but sitting at the table made for a very peaceful and beautiful office. 

We ate a beautiful lunch of home-made empanadas and afterwards Vikram and I walked down to the Formentor beach.  The path was blocked by fallen trees from the winter storms so it was more of a scramble than it might have been.  It’s a small Mediterranean beach but with lovely water beyond. 

In the evening we had a dinner out in Puerto Pollença, sitting down by the water in the harbour.  It was all delicious and convivial with the sort of good vibe when people who don’t know each other very well tell origin stories of their lives and romances in a well honed but luckily amusing way.  We are a big group, 14, from the ages of 20 to 80+ so there’s a lot of life to unpack.
