JR arrived about 10.30 and we set off for Hampshire via Upton House, a National Trust property near Banbury. It was the country seat of Lord andLady Bearsted- he was the the CEO ofShell. They had a large art collection but not really my style. I rather this old outbuilding which is now part of the gift shop. We arrived at the Travelodge inAlton at about 4.30 - nice position on a not very busy road. Out for dinner in the local town - not a lot of choice on a Sunday. No 4G reception in hotel and internet is hopeless so will be back blipping
