Thompsonii

Abutilon Pictum Thompsonii joined my collection just over a month ago. It is mainly grown for its range of variegated foliage. I wasn't expecting it to flower but here it is, a nice pale orange.

Last week we made another attempt to buy a house in Shropshire. Unfortunately it had multiple bids within a few days of going on the market. Now the agents have asked for 'best and final' offers. Its a brutal process and one we wouldn't normally get involved with. It seems like lose-lose, you either lose the house or you win it but pay over the odds. Having agonised over night we have made our bid. I hope it was high enough.
