Roadworks

I went bowling in the park this morning.  Fortunately it was early so before the heat became oppressive.

Afterwards I had to get a birthday card and present.  The main street in the town is being resurfaced so had to walk a long way to be able to cross over.  It will be an improvement when it's done of course.     

The town is looking very jolly with it's bunting but it's a shame that there are so many empty shops.
