Jake's school fete
It was the day of Jake's Summer fete at school, and he'd volunteered to help in the 'beat the goalkeeper' event. He went off to help set up, and once we'd got Eva sun creamed up and fed, we walked her round too.
It was such a lovely atmosphere, and very nostalgic.
There was a bouncy castle, pony ride, soak the teacher, splat the rat, Punch and Judy show, go carts (which Jake went on) to name but a few, but the best thing to me was a falconry company was there with an Eagle owl called Beau, a Little owl called Napoleon, a Barn owl, and an eagle. I actually held and stroked the Eagle owl and Mike took some photos and filmed it, it was amazing, I love owls :-)
We got Eva out of her pram so she could properly see all around, and that is when today's pic was taken, a lovely one of her with her Daddy.
Later on we went to fetch her new rainforest jumperoo. I think she's too little to go in it just yet but I hope she's gonna love it when she does.
She was absolutely zonked by tea time as she didn't really nap much today as it was so action packed, so Mike bathed her and then I fed her, and we had lovely cuddles, and then she was in her bed, spark out, by 8.45 pm, the earliest time to date. It's 12.10 am as I write this, and bless her, she hasn't stirred, not even when I just put my hand on her little leg or stroked her little hand. I resisted the urge to pick her up for munches xxx
