Jumperoooooooo

After a quick 6 am feed and snuggle in bed this morning, it was then 9.45 before Eva and I both woke up! I could not believe my eyes when I looked at the time and she was only stirring, not even fully awake!!

When we came downstairs, Mike tried her in the jumperoo we bought her yesterday. He'd put it on the lowest level and bless her, her little toes were pointing downwards and only just skimming the ground. She kept sucking the front of the chair bit you sit in too, so she was only in it for like 10 minutes as I think she's maybe slightly too little yet for it, but first impressions are I think it will be a hit.

Eva stayed with her Daddy in the afternoon while I went to visit my lovely cousin, Anna and her soon to be hubby, Luke.

Mike said Grandad had been round while I was out, and was playing with Eva out in the garden as it was such a lovely day.

Aunty Liza and Lorna came round later in the afternoon and stayed a good few hours, so it was great to catch up. Eva couldn't keep her eyes open by about 4.30pm, so Liza carried her upstairs to bed and I helped her settle her down for a nap.

Eva is getting chattier by the day and her latest 'thing' is to kind of purse her lips, scrunch her eyes up, and make high pitched squealy noises, it is extremely cute! She is also constantly sucking her fingers, dribbling everywhere and when I've picked her up, she loves actually sucking my shoulder.

All this talk of Eva makes me want to go and wake her up for munches xxx
