Charlotte rose

... and a Red Admiral for Flower Friday, with thanks to host Anni/BikerBear. More in Extras. I have pasted the butterfly into the rose image, as you can probably tell! But it was taken today.

The sun took a long time to break through the mist today, but once there it was hot, and the air still. No wind at all. More gardening done despite the heat, and Mr PP made a trip to the tip with four containers of garden rubbish. Used a new spade with teeth to edge one flower bed (more anon). It's really effective (from Lidl, as so often!) It can break up even our thick, heavy clay soil. A very good buy!
