Dusty Butterfly

Dusty butterfly,
on a hot path at Dunham,
hoping for the rain!

Well, I don’t know if it was really hoping for rain.. that might have just been me! And Leo I think. He’s been a hot dog. Ben had a good night and morning but then he was really tricky on the way home from school, so that was a shame. At least it’s Friday.
We had quite a nice day, mr KCNQ2Haiku was off work so we wandered around Dunham Massey, Leo was a bit keen on the squirrels so we had him on a very short lead which meant he was pulling quite a lot and he was also interested in the Deer, which wasn’t ideal. It’s so pretty there though and the deer were lovely, plus we saw butterflies (I think this one is a speckled wood butterfly?) and a little newt type thing that mr KCNQ2Haiku’s keen eyes spotted! Then I was supposed to have a meeting with the respite place that we want for Ben but they cancelled last minute, which was a shame but these things happen. We went for a drink in the local beer garden instead :-D
And then there was the tricky pick up from school. But hey, it’s over now and I’m going to open the wine!
